Description

A very handy and lightweight orbital sander. Operates either with a 40V max. battery or a PDC connector battery. Its compact size is further enhanced by the separate connection of the battery or PDC battery bank via adapter cable. Excellent dust extraction is achieved through the base plate into the integrated dust box or via an external dust extractor, which can be controlled via AWS. The adjustable oscillation speed ensures perfect results on any material.

The battery is connected to the tool via a 1.6 m adapter cable, making the tool easier to use and control. The connector is easy to attach and can also be used with other BO00xCG models. The standard cable length is 1.6 m, and a more convenient 5 m cable is available as an option.

The optimally balanced random orbital sander with XPT (eXtreme Protection Technology) enables work even under harsh conditions. The AWS (Auto-Start Wireless System) function allows the tool to be used with an AWS-compatible vacuum cleaner. For example, the sander can be used with the Makita LXT or XGT backpack vacuum cleaner to make your work more efficient.

The device is equipped with variable speed control, giving you the freedom to choose the sanding speed depending on the surface. The speed remains constant even under load, ensuring a consistent sanding result. The soft start guarantees a smooth and comfortable start-up. The machine is equipped with electric braking and anti-restart functions to enhance safety. The hook-and-loop fastening system is compatible with various pads and attachments.

Characteristics
